We want to ensure that potential candidates are aware of these scams and understand our legitimate recruitment process.


How to identify a recruitment scam:

  • Fraudulent emails: Scammers may use email addresses that appear similar to our official domain. Always verify that the email is from our legitimate Pontera domain.
  • Unsolicited job offers: Be cautious of unsolicited job offers, especially if you have not applied for a position with our company.
  • Unexpected video invites: Beware of unexpected calendar invites (e.g. Microsoft Teams or Skype) for interviews or meetings. Our recruiters will always provide context and details before scheduling meetings.
  • Requests for personal information: We will never ask for sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security number, banking details) via email or before you have formally accepted an offer.
  • Exchange of money: We will never send you any funds or request money from you during the interview or onboarding process.



Our recruitment process:

  • All job applications are submitted through our official Careers page or through verified job portals such as LinkedIn.
  • Our recruiting team will reach out to candidates using official company email addresses. Always check that the email domain matches the Pontera domain.
  • We may partner with external recruiting vendors. If you receive outreach from a recruiting professional outside of Pontera’s organization, please verify that their email domain is connected to a legitimate recruitment agency website. If you’re unsure whether a recruiter is a legitimate Pontera vendor, you can verify with our recruiting team at the email listed below.
  • Initial interviews may take place over the phone or via video call, and will always be scheduled after prior communication from a recruiter.
  • Formal offer letters will be issued directly from our HR department. Please be sure to check that the email domain matches the Pontera domain.
